Bewiz is one of the firms that started their digital transition very early: in 2008. The entire invoice management value chain had been optimised, with one exception: payment of supplier invoices.
However, Nicolas Liodenot's job above all involves processing the company's “raw” information quickly and in a way that is useful for its clients. And the way its suppliers well managed was a long way from optimal:
- Check each invoice;
- Write out cheques;
- Log onto the banking system and enter numerous codes and credentials, etc.
- Enter IBANs and invoice data;
- Perform accounting reconciliations;
With more than 600 clients to manage and without a suitable computerised solution, it was difficult for Bewiz to ensure payment of invoices on time. For each invoice received, the information had to be checked, the invoice had to be reconciled with the purchase order, data had to be entered into the accounting software, the correct banking interface had to be logged onto, etc.
